Size backup energy around essential loads
List essential appliances, their average consumption and the required backup duration. Nominal battery energy is a starting point; the usable energy window, reserve setting, inverter losses and operating conditions affect the energy delivered to the loads.
Match the inverter and communication protocol
Check battery voltage and current limits against the inverter requirements. CAN or RS485 identifies an interface, not guaranteed protocol compatibility. Confirm the inverter brand, model and firmware for the proposed battery combination.
Prepare an installer or distributor enquiry
Include daily outage duration, essential and peak loads, existing solar equipment, inverter details, quantity and destination. Clarify installation environment and future expansion plans before choosing wall-mounted, rack or other configurations.
Questions before you order
How long will a 10.24kWh battery run a house?
Runtime depends on the actual load, permitted usable energy and conversion losses. Use the backup-sizing guide and an appliance load list to estimate a system rather than applying one runtime to every home.
Can batteries be connected in parallel?
Use only the combinations, wiring arrangement and settings approved for the selected model. Confirm limits and commissioning requirements before planning an expansion.
